About Acorn Place

A calm and nurturing space for early childhood

Supporting children through their most important early years

Acorn Place is a small, intentional early childhood centre in Somerset West for children aged 2 to 5 years. It is a calm, homely space where children are gently guided through rhythm, play, creativity, and meaningful connection.

Our programme nurtures the whole child by encouraging imagination, independence, emotional security, and a deep connection with nature. Each day flows with a gentle rhythm that balances focused activity with movement, outdoor exploration, and free play.

We believe childhood is a precious season of wonder. Every child is met as they are, supported with warmth and care, and given the freedom to grow at their own pace in a peaceful and supportive environment.

Founder & Lead Educator

For more than a decade, Wania has walked alongside children and families with warmth, wisdom, and professionalism. She creates a calm, homely environment where each child is seen, supported, and gently guided through rhythm, creativity, and meaningful connection.

Her approach blends trusted child-centred philosophies with a deep respect for natural rhythms and the individuality of every child. Wania believes education is not about rushing outcomes, but about nurturing confident, curious, and emotionally secure young learners.

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and deeply valued. My role is to create a gentle space where they can grow naturally and joyfully.
